UW CAMPUS

The University Square development that houses Lucky is located in the middle of UW-Madison's East Campus, and is an integral part of their new East Campus Redevelopment Plan. This plan is centered on creating a new pedestrian mall at what is currently Murray Street, which will stretch from Lake Mendota to just north of Regent Street. This new artery will include green gathering spaces while connecting the university's newly expanded academic, student services and arts facilities.

This redevelopment includes a new UW tower (shown in the rendering above) that is also part of the University Square development. This 11-story building (two of which are retail) includes two floors of student activity centers, four floors that will house University Health Services and three floors of student services, including the Bursar, Registrar and Financial Aid offices.

Within three blocks of Lucky you will find these university facilities: Kohl Center, SERF, Vilas Hall, Chazen Museum, Library Mall, Bascom Hall, Memorial Library, Memorial Union, Red Gym, Fluno Center, Humanities Building, and Grainger Hall.
