PROJECT FACTS

The Numbers: Lucky is 412,000 total square feet with 359 apartments, 669 bedrooms and 569 bathrooms. Lucky is 10 stories high and sits on top of 2 floors of retail space. The floors are numbered 4-14, there is no unlucky 13th floor. The apartment mix includes studios, one-, two-, three- and four-bedrooms.

Demographic: The community is for all age and economic groups and we fully anticipate a diverse resident mix that is made up of young professionals, UW faculty and staff, UW students, corporate relocates and all others looking to live in an exciting, urban environment.

Unit Overview: The apartments all have extended 9-foot ceiling heights and floor to ceiling windows. The top three floors have floor to ceiling exterior glass walls. Design finishes and rents vary by floor level.

Each apartment is one story and has a living area, full kitchen and bathroom. All two, three and four bedroom units have two bathrooms. There are balconies on all units except for those on the third floor on the interior of the building, adjacent to the garden space. All of the units on the top three floors, with the exception of the studios have gas fireplaces.

Development Overview: The entire University Square development is an 11-story, 1.1 million square-foot project that, in addition to Lucky, is home to 236,500 square feet of university, student and health service offices, 134,000 square feet of retail space and 420 ramp style parking stalls.

Groundbreaking occurred on June 2, 2006. The apartment residences opened August 13, 2008. Various retail businesses opened in August 2008, and the University will occupy its facilities by the spring of 2009.
