LAUNDRY & VENDING

Each floor at Lucky has a laundry room with two washers and dryers and a folding table. These machines are equipped with Laundry View: an online monitoring system that allows you to check machine availability, monitor your laundry's progress and receive an e-mail or text message when your laundry is done.

How do I use Laundry View?
LaundryView is an Internet application that allows you to monitor the status of the washers and dryers in each laundry room using a Web browser. All you need to do is visit www.laundryview.com/lucky and select your laundry room.

How do the e-mail alerts work?
To set an alert you should first click the Login link and enter your e-mail address and password. Alerts work two ways.
1. If a room is busy, you can click on the "Need a Machine?" button to request to be notified when a specified number of washers and/or dryers are no longer running a laundry cycle.
2. If you have laundry in a washer or dryer, you can click on the machine to request a notification when it has completed its washing or drying cycle.

How can I send an alert to my cell phone?
Standard LaundryView alerts are generated as e-mails but can be easily sent to your cell phone as a text message. Click on the FAQ page on the Laundry View website for an explanation of how to send e-mail messages to your phone. Once you know how to create an e-mail address that will be pointed to your phone, use it to create your profile with LaundryView. Alerts for that profile will then be sent to your phone.

Laundry and vending are both paid for using your Lucky Preferred Resident Card. Vending machines can be found on most of the floors at Lucky.
