LAST MINUTE ITEMS

• Please make sure all key cards, mailbox keys, garage entrance cards and parking tags are handed over or left behind when you check out of your apartment. There is a fee if these items are not returned.
• Your card and key fob will be de-activated on the end date of your lease. Remaining balances will be returned to you as part of your security deposit settlement. You will no longer be able to use the card at local businesses, or to access the building.
• Be careful not to take any furnishings that came with the apartment or you will be charged for it.
• Remove your food from the refrigerator and leave it running.
• Make sure you cancelled your utilities and changed you address with the post office.
• Send us or call us with your forwarding address 10 days prior to your lease expiration so we can get your security deposit to you.
• Make sure all light bulbs are working before you leave.
• Thoroughly clean your apartment, top to bottom.
• On specific dates, the loading dock will be available for large loads. Please inquire at the service desk if you are interested.
• Do NOT put trash in cardboard boxes. Boxes must be flattened.
• Do not pile trash or large items in hallways or around the trash room.
• Put all trash in bags. No loose piles of trash/garbage.
• Microwaves and refrigerators (all sizes) require a fee for collection by the city of Madison. Permits can be purchased through their website.
• Please consider dropping off re-usable items with St. Vincent DePaul or Goodwill.
